Molasses, that runs downwards from the tobacco bowl, accumulates inside the glass poppet, while the smoke can be dragged through the holes in the tree shaped glass-art. That's how the smoke-stem shaft and downtube stays clean.
This glass molasses catcher in the shape of a fir tree in a cartouche is of course easy to clean due to its material. It is also resistant to constant contact with the moisture of the molasses - something it has over molasses catchers made of metal, for example.
Glass molasses catchers from Kaya Shisha are mainly used with glass shishas that have ground sections in sizes 18.8 or 29.2.
In the meantime, however, more and more metal smoke columns at Kaya-Shisha are equipped with ground joint connections, which correspond exactly to the ground joint sizes of the glass individual parts. This means that molasses catchers made of glass can also be used with metal smoke columns.
Shisha tobacco develops the richest, beautifully white smoke when it is well saturated with aromatic molasses (also known as molasses). This molasses can run down through the tobacco head into the shaft of the hookah. This in turn affects the taste and thus the enjoyment. That's why we always advise using a molasses catcher like this Inner Tree. Okay, it costs a few euros more than without, but it's really worth it. It also makes the material of your hookah last longer.
